The CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa week kicks off this Monday! – GT World Challenge
Starting this Monday, the wait will finally be over as the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa week officially gets underway. Our team will once again field two Porsche 911 GT3 R entries at one of Europe’s most prestigious GT events, with one clear objective: aiming for the top step of the podium.
Aboard the PRO-class Porsche 911 GT3 R #2, our familiar endurance line-up of Dorian Boccolacci, Alessio Picariello and Morris Schuring will be back in action. Following thorough preparation and several strong performances this season, the trio heads to Spa determined to fight for victory in this legendary race.
In the Gold Cup category, Gilles Magnus, Robin Knutsson and Alessandro Ghiretti will be looking to bounce back aboard the #10 Porsche. Having been hampered by incidents during previous events, they have yet to fully showcase their potential. Eager to demonstrate their talent on the biggest event of the season, the trio arrives with the ambition of fighting for Gold Cup victory and, above all, reaching the finish line after 24 hours of intense competition.
We will officially kick off our race week on Wednesday evening, when fans will have the opportunity to meet our drivers and discover both of our Porsche entries during the traditional Spa city parade, starting at 18:00.
Four action-packed days will then follow, beginning with free practice and qualifying sessions on Thursday, the Superpole on Friday, and finally the start of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa at 16:30 on Saturday. The race will continue through to Sunday afternoon, bringing to a close 24 hours of what promises to be spectacular racing.
The entire team is ready to take on this exceptional challenge and looks forward to your support throughout this unique week. See you in Spa!
