GTWC – a Gold Cup podium to conclude our weekend in Zandvoort!

After a Saturday already marked by pole position and a podium finish, we concluded our weekend in Zandvoort with another second-place finish in Gold Cup, this time, and a strong comeback in Pro Cup. An excellent weekend for both of our crews, with one podium each to take home from the Netherlands.

For the second Sprint race of the weekend, the #2 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Morris Schuring and Dorian Boccolacci started from P16 after a difficult qualifying session. From the very beginning, our crew set about fighting their way up the order during an intense one-hour race. After a strong recovery drive, the #2 crossed the finish line in P11, once again showing its pace and fighting spirit in Pro Cup despite some very tough competition.

Meanwhile, the #10 Porsche of Gilles Magnus and Robin Knutsson started from P3 in Gold Cup and P10 overall. After an intense hour of racing, our duo maintained their position in the overall standings and, more importantly, secured P2 in Gold Cup. A well-deserved podium for our duo, who were already fighting for a top-class finish the day before.

With a second-place finish for each of our two cars over the weekend, both crews leave Zandvoort with a smile. It was a strong weekend for the whole team, once again highlighting the quality of the work carried out both on track and in the pits. A huge well done to our mechanics, engineers and drivers who make it all possible!

We now turn our attention to the final round of the Sprint Cup, which will take place in Barcelona. One last Sprint Cup weekend, and one we’ll approach with the same ambition: to finish the season on a high! See you there in a little over a week! 🇪🇸
