GTWC ENDURANCE, JEDDAH : FIRST SESSIONS

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit (in Arabic: حلبة كورنيش جدة) is an urban motorsport circuit located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was inaugurated during the twenty-second round of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship, for the first Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
With 27 corners and a length of 6,175 meters, Jeddah is the longest street circuit in the history of motorsport.

This will be the first time that a round of the GT World Challenge Endurance Championship will take place in this country.

Two sessions were organised to discover the circuit.

Session 1 :

  • P5 overall, Mercedes #10 – P1 in Silver class : Aurelien Panis – Cesar Gazeau – Esteban Muth
  • P24 overall, Mercedes #9 : Maxi Götz – Thomas Drouet – Ralf Aron

Session 2

  • P1 overall – Mercedes #9
  • P14 overall – P2 In Silver class– Mercedes #10

Friday : (-2h for Belgium)

  • 15,30 FP
  • 20,15 : Pre-Qualif

Saturday :

  • 11,45 : Qualif 1 – 2 – 3
  • 17,00 : Endurance race 6H
