LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO, JEREZ: First tests sessions & qualifs
After a day of collective testing on Tuesday, bringing together the European, Asian and American championships, it was time for the “Free Practice” testing by championship. Blue skies gave way to rain for the 1st morning session. The track had time to dry out for the afternoon sessions.
Wednesday’s results:
- FP1: P12 – Renaud Kuppens – Roee Meyuhas – Pro-Am class
- FP2: P6 – The session stopped midway through following a red flag. The session restarted at the end of the afternoon to give competitors a bit of running time. P3 Pro-AM.
On Thursday morning, the weather was again unfavorable and qualifying began in the rain.
Thursday morning results:
- Q1: P8 – Renaud Kuppens – Pro-Am class
- Q2: P5 – Roee Meyuhas – Pro-Am class
The program continues with Race 1 of the European Championship at 4.25pm.
